Our playground woodchips are International Play Equipment Manufacturers’ Association (IPEMA) certified as Engineered Wood Fiber. This means the woodchips have been screened and sorted to meet child safety standards. It provides a safe and soft surface ideal for any playground area.
Our playground wood chips can also be used as a mulch for topdressing garden beds! Playground wood chips are considered as material that is an impact-attenuation surface. If used for playground surfaces, the wood chips can be effective in lessening the impact of the fall from the equipment. Wood Chips can also be used for your landscaping purposes to topdress around trees, shrubs or pathways.
Every bulk bag is approximately 3 feet by 3 feet by 3 feet, and holds one cubic yard. That’s 8 to 10 wheelbarrows!
